For over a decade, the SRC's Stereology Core Facility (SCF) has worked with bioscientists in academia, private industry, and government agencies to process tissue and collect data according to the principles and practices of design-based (unbiased) stereology. If you need tissue processing, we work closely with the top facilities in the world for high quality, fast, and high affordable preparation of biological tissue for stereological analysis. For tissue processed either by your personnel or our partners, our highly trained technicians collect accurate and precise stereology data using state-of-the-art computerized stereology.
The Five-Step Process
- By phone. We discuss your project and review histological, stereological, and other considerations.
- By email. You review a quote for stereology and tissue processing (if necessary), with an estimated time frame for completion of the work and applicable discounts.
- By mail. You send us sectioned, stained, and coverslipped slides; or, send your tissue for processing according to the particular requirements.
- At our laboratories. Our trained technicians collect your stereology data, blind to treatment whenever possible, using high throughput computerized stereology systems.
- By email. You receive draft reports with detailed results, figures, methods, discussion, conclusions and references for your comments and changes. After all changes and revisions, you receive a signed final report.
When necessary, services of the Stereology Core Facilities are available with compliance to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) certification (Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, parts 11 and 58).All aspects of your projects will be carried out with strict confidentiality.
Price Check. Costs vary according to a number of factors, with substantial discounts for high volume projects. As an academically oriented company, we also provide discounts to research carried out in university and college laboratories.
