The Stereologist-On-Call program provides the full range of facilities, expertise, and personnel of the SRC to clients in academia, government agencies and private industry. The goal is to achieve highly targeted goals for projects that involve organic stereology, the analysis of biological tissue using design-based (unbiased) stereology.  

As an academically oriented institution, we have the same priorities as you. We don't just sell "appliances" and wish you good luck; rather, we know how to use the same resources in our own studies to address hypothesis-driven projects. We understand the importance of Approach, Significance, Innovation, Investigator, and Facilities to your applications for research funding. And we know how to extract the greatest cost-benefit for every expediture of equipment and human resources in your project budget.

The first step is for us to listen. We have decades of experience in helping scientists achieve their goals -- project designs, publications, funding awards. Stereology approaches are not always the best solution; when they are not, we will tell you. If an opportunity exists for us to help, we develop a written plan that includes the protocols, time frame and cost estimate to ensures you have the required resources -- material, equipment, and personnel. Then we work with you to execute this plan, as needed, to achieve success.
